HDD/SSD CRAZY USAGE after change RATING on video file?

My question is why adobe BRIDGE very heavy load my SSD/HDD when i simple change rating on VIDEO file? May I avoid this?
IT's very slow down my PC.
Rating inserts directly into a file? Or what. Why this simple operation slow my PC for usage.. very well?

Hi Stillborn,

Try resetting the preferences of Bridge by following the steps below :-

Start Adobe Bridge and immediately press Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS) until the Reset Settings dialog box appears. Select all three options--Reset Preferences, Reset Standard Workspaces, and Purge Entire Thumbnail Cache--and then click OK.
