How do I view and open Creative Cloud files in Adobe Bridge?

Hi All,

Wondering if anyone can help me figure out how to view and open Adobe Creative Cloud files in Bridge. It seems as though it should be intuitive enough, but I cannot access any Illustrator or Photoshop creative cloud stored files in Bridge, unless I download them to my computer and view them that way. Which seems absurd and a waste of time.

I'd like to get a better all round view of files in one of my creative cloud folders, hence why I'd like to use Bridge.

Any ideas?

TIA

TBMK Bridge can only show files in 'local' folders (not the Cloud).

And are you aware that the {Creative CLoud Files} folder you may have seen in a File Browser has been deprecated and no longer available.

!! Discontinuation of Creative Cloud Synced files

Thanks for replying to the post. Yes it's a shame that Bridge doesn't read cloud files.
I was aware of the discontinued synced files, but thanks for adding it on, in case it helps someone else.

It appears that you can access these files by opening a library window from the windows menu in Bridge. However, it will not show the root file structure that has been uploaded to the cloud. Looking for the answer for how to see that in Bridge, which is what lead me here. Maybe this will help someone though.

Also, working with cloud storage for a short time reminds me why I hate cloud storage. The functionality is always lacking, no matter if its Apple, Microsoft, or Adobe. And files seem to have too good of a chance of getting synced or not-synced properly, or accidentally deleted. Seems cloud is best used for backup only.

Also, what if I want to remove "synced" files from the cloud to clear up storage? Better have an extra backup that the sync software doesn't see, beacuse there are no options to delete from the cloud only, so you might delete those files locally as well instead of only from the cloud. There is also little instructions or way to figure out answers to questions such as these.
