Hi I'm Tono, a non native english speaker but most of my work is focused on English language since I an contributor to stock photo marketplaces. I sometimes have dobuts about the spelling of certain words that I do edit in Adobe Bridge: Tittles, Keywords....  all my writings are under the "IPTC Core" tab which is the only tab that I need to integrate the text spell.

I wonder if I could get any spell checking of my written words, as all the text editor apps have. Actually some apps allow to integrate certain plugins as Grammarly or any other. I worder if there is any adobe solution for this or actually any other third parties solutions for my needs.

Actually any other parallel or alternative solution for my needs woruld be great to know if you had a similar issue and got a solution for that.

Thanks in advance

Tono

Hi Jeff I have a M1 Mac and use to run the last MacOS version, now I'm running MasOS Sonoma 14.6.1

Does the OS matters for the spell check feature?

For me is a crucial feature in an Adobe app where many of content creators edit our metadata to have a way to spell check our manual inputs. Even the most basic open source or not text editor, email app or chat app... and mostly 90% of everywhere you can write  with a manual keyboard, have the ability to check spell of our writing.

Thanks in advance.

You should be able to right click on the field and see Spelling and Grammer.

Hi Jeff, yes I'm able to see it, but only while I have check the working field/box. If I'm writing a "Description" and after a "Tittle", the highlighted words disappear from Description when I stop editing.  this way if I want to spell check one image, after another and so on.... I have to ckick on every field of every single image, instead of being able to see the spell suggestions highlighted permanently.

i must admit that I now have a spell check tool that I did not have before, that's a thumbs up for you!  But I wonder if this is able to leave ACTIVATED all the time on all the fields instead of only "While writing"
