Hey ,
I forgot to only select the dng files in a folder.
Now I have mixed selection. Some are JPG some are DNG.
How can I make a selection so that the selected JPG show up with the DNG files so I can give those (DNG)
a rating and erase the rating of the jpgs.
This happens quite some time to me and I guess I am not the only one.
It would be so helpfull if you could sift the selection with a better tool.
When I used to work on avid we could ad such statements to a folder so that I could add and remove
several kind of paremeters to a "BIN" "Folder".
And if there is another way of doing this I would love to know how.
thanxs
Peter

Use the Filter panel to choose just the file type you want.

I agree with Lumigraphics. However, I'd add a step to place the JPGs into a separate folder so that you do not inadvertently do this again.
Do you have a specific reason to shoot jpg plus raw? If not, have you considered creating any jobs you may need AFTER you've done your ratings, adjustments, etc. If there are only a few, it's easy to create them from the final image. If there are many, you can quickly create them using the Image Processor script either in PS or from Bridge. When I do that, I just toss the JPGs after I'm done because I can quickly re-create them as needed.

Hey ,
the jpgs are for fast checking and I like to see the look the camera preset generates.

I colored the jpgs in red so I can see them better.
but I did not find a setting of the bridge browser where I see the rated jpgs and the unrated dngs side by side ....
beside I am doing this on a trip with limited resources. So it svery intens to concentrate on the Monitor of the laptop.
but it would be nice if there where a command inside bridge to help with this issue.
I bet I am not the only one .
thanxs for the suggestions . Peter

I need to select to attributes!
this is possible?
my experience says no!
to clarify !
sone files are selected in raw and some in jpg!
if you sort by type you get either and the do not sort such that you can get a clue which was selected and which not.
and I am not speaking of 50 or 100 files.
its 4500, ok .....
so either we have the possibility to sort by 2 things or 3 : color , rating and type or we don't .
i would like to sort all jpgs selecte and give me the pair of dngs to the jpgs.
But I am realizing that this is not an issue over here.
