Question

Include tags in other metadata areas?

I'm developing a photo site and the plugins that go with my gallery (Photo Gallery/ Ecommerce by Web_Dorado) are showing only the metadata about my camera, when i upload files.

I want to be able to get the TAGS i did in Bridge, to export into that plugin setup, because it's so difficult to have to re-tag everything inside that plugin/gallery each time. I wonder if there's a way to include tags in the metadata location that DOES import into that program?

I attach screenshot of the "description" metadata in the photo gallery to show what appears. this is the spot I'm thinking i might be able to include the tags from Bridge, to get around the limitations of the photo gallery plugin.

Anyone have an idea if i can include tags in another metadata location in Bridge, to test this theory?

jaebaeli, I’d like to help, however there is no screenshot so it is really hard to know what is going on.

Thanks!

I had a quick look at the developers documents, which were not very useful in this regard (unless I missed the bit on metadata).

You will need to find out which exact metadata fields in your images are being automatically picked up and displayed by the website and either remove the entries or replace them with what you wish to display.

Can you view the image in Bridge and look at the metadata panel to find which info is displayed on the website?
