Keyboard Shortcut Conflict in Adobe Bridge in macOS

This is a new issue, after the recent update to this year's Bridge.

All these years I have used the Mac keyboard shortcut Opt-d for the Icelandic alphabet ð (known as 'eth'). Now when I try to use the shortcut in any of the Metadata field of Adobe Bridge it takes me to the Path Field at the top of the window (see attached photo). I have to copy and paste ð from outside Bridge (a clumsy solution).

How do I get Bridge to recognize the old shortcut?
