I am unable to open use the "Load Files into Photoshop Layers" tool in Bridge.

This is an essential part of my workflow.

I am using PS 26.0 and Bridge 15.0.0.397 on a brand new MBP OS 15.1

The odd thing is it worked a few times but then stopped.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both apps and restarted computer many times.

Any thoughts?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Hi @MultipleLayers ,

Thanks for your feedback.

Could you please share the following details about the issue:

  • Is the issue specific to particular files/format?
  • File Path: Where are the files located?
  • Are other Photoshop "Tools" options and the "Place In" option working?
  • Screenshot of Application tab in the Preferences dialog

Please share the screen recording and sample file/files on which you are observing the issue at sharewithbr@adobe.com and mention this thread.

Thanks,

Bridge Team

Perhaps not as convenient as Bridge, Photoshop also offers a load files into stack script, which might help you in the short term.
