Keywords exports from bridge are in regular text format editable in word or notpad. But keyword exported in photoshop elements are exported in XML format and not easely editable. And keywords exported in Lightrool Clasic are in ascii or UFT-8 format. None of them are interchangeable with the other applications. Why can't adobe be consistent be consistent with a Export/Inport format for all applications. The Bridhe format would be the simplest as it can be easily edited with a word or notpad app to make changes and then have a consistent Inport/Export format for all apps that adobe support Keywords entery. I keep my main Keyword file in Bridge and woul like to Export the file and Inport it in Photoshop elements and Lightroom Clasic; but can becaue of the different formt used by each app.
Can adobe do somthing about this in future updates to their apps? Make the Inport/Export format the same for all apps.

I don't use Lr, however, the last time I looked at it I thought that it was possible to exchange keywords with Br, as long as using the plain text format. Both apps use different XML structure so that route isn't possible. I can't comment on PsE.
It is possible to use a text editor find/replace to strip out XML tags, leaving only plain text keywords, it is a bit of work but not too bad if really needed:
