Moving files in order in Bridge

In the Adobe bridge 2025 version, I have a problem with moving files in a folder in a specific order to give them a name, for example from 01 to 10.

When I select several files and want to move them lower or higher in a folder, it happens so quickly that it prevents me from precisely placing the files where I want to use Batch Rename.

In version 2024 this happens much slower.

Is it possible to change the file dragging speed somewhere?

Hi, @Wilk_67; the operative word in all this is to take your time and save often. I just created a short video that shows what to look for. If I have time in the next couple of days, I might make an update to show a few more tricks to make this work, but this should suffice for now. Good luck!

Interesting, @Wilk_67, thank you for the video. I just checked (I've not needed to move files in Bridge recently), and yes, it's on HyperDrive now. 

Do you have a scroll wheel on your mouse? If so, have you tried using that? I found that I could control the speed that way. Let me see if other things can be done to slow this down. I'll get back to you.

Hey,   @gary_sc Unfortunately the mouse wheel does not affect the speed of file transfer. For now I'm still using the 2024 version where file transfer works fine

Oh, sorry, @Wilk_67, I didn't mean the wheel would affect the transfer speed. Rather, you can control the scrolling speed with the mouse wheel.
