New Apple Mac 2020, I cannot download Bridge

I am gettting an error message once downloaded Bridge from Creative cloud, it says Mac cannot check for malware, contact developer. Any ideas please? brand new Mac I am setting up today and worked fine on my older version Mac.

Also, you should use the Creative Cloud app to install Bridge.

Hi there,

 

Open up your system preferences (Click on the Apple icon in the menu bar, 2nd option) and go to Security & Privacy. In the general tab note that there's an option for "Allow apps downloaded from:" Also note that you need to unlock the padlelock in the bottom right corner with your Administrative password to acess this. Check the radio button as you see I have.

If you haven't OK system permissions on this Mac, do the following and save yourself some grief later on.

 

Check out the last tab, Privacy

 

Once there click on the lock on the bottom left and provide your Administrator code (unless it's already unlocked by the previous step). Now select the Full Disk Access option and click on the "+" symbol. This will bring up the standard Mac Open window and let you add any application you want or need to have full access. Look for Bridge, select it, it will now appear in that window and make sure it's checked. Next go to the Files and Folders option and do the same thing as above (although there's nothing to check, just add. Close everything down and see if that makes it all work.
