After updating to Bridge CC 2018, I'm very surprised to find that the File Info panel has been changed (downgraded?) to the one that previously was in Photoshop. I now find that:
- I can't find an autocomplete option, so I have to type the same info again and again for images with the the same basic subject and description.
- I have to select the template to use EVERY TIME I open the panel.
Is there something I'm missing here? I heven't been able to find any options or preferences to avoid this.
Thanks.

Thanks for your reply, but I can't find an answer to my questions there.
I don't see an improvement in making the File Info dialog the same as PS, rather the opposite. Again, I find it hard to believe that there is no autocomplete option? So you have to type everything, every time? And you can't even select ONE template by default??
Unless I'm missing something, which the link you refer to does not clarify.
Rgds,
Ignacio Yúfera

We are having the same issue with the new Bridge CC 2018. We do have to add file infos to hundreds of pictures every day and usually the info we add to "Document Title", "Keywords" and "Description" largely repeats itself. In the prior versions of Bridge the auto-complete for keywords and the drop-down menu that came up in "Document Title", displaying the last few titles we had entered, made this an easy enough task. Ever since we updated to CC 2018 though, it has turned into a most dreadful occupation. It takes us twice the amount of time to add the information without the auto-complete and in the no longer adjustable inspector panels that cannot be resized or expanded. We used to be able to see ALL the text we had to copy into those panels, now we see only the first line or two. Plus, the white text on dark grey background is terrible on the eyes after staring at it for hours on end during work. Why can the "file information" window not change colour with the rest of the Bridge interface when choosing "Appearance" in the preferences? Tol call this an enhanced or improved version of "file info" is a joke, to say the least. For now, we have no choice but to go back to using the CC 2017 version.
