Question

Open in Adobe Bridge missing from Finder/Explorer?

It used to be that installing Adobe Bridge would also put into macOS Finder and Windows Explorer a right-click that let you choose to open a folder in Finder or Explorer.

Is that now gone?

Any other way to put that back in, maybe via macOS tricks?

I'll have to test on Mac but the contextual menu items are still available on Windows.

Yes, I agree. On further examination, I am only seeing this on macOS.

Same here, no Finder menu.

No, it's the other way around. Begin in Finder and right-click a folder. It used to say something like "Open in Adobe Bridge"

I'm sorry Mike, I was reading too fast.

This came up with someone else, and yes, that does appear to have been removed. (I do not know if that was intentional or not. Nor do I know if they plan on moving it back. They should.)

However, what I've done since Bridge. v1 was to drag a folder or a file from a folder onto the Bridge icon in the Dock. For whatever reason, that fits my brain. Until this is resolved one way or the other, that is one other way to get to the same place.

If I can find out if this will be fixed, I'll try and get back to you.

Hi, @Mike Witherell. Are you talking about this?

If you're not seeing this, the only things I can think of to try are to Purge the Cache for that folder and/or Reset Bridge's Preferences. But, I really do not think either will fix that, but they are worth a try.
