The newest version of bridge does not include Photoshop actions within Tools menu - can no longer open multiple images from Bridge into layers in same document within Photoshop?
Hi,
Thanks for your feedback.
Could you please share the following details about the issue:
1. Check if the scripts are enabled from Edit -> Preferences -> Startup Scripts...
2. PS and Br version
3. System configuration
4. Check if any PS script (other than installed version) is present at the following location:
Mac : /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Startup Scripts CC
win: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Startup Scripts CC\If yes, delete the folder, reinstall Br and PS and try again.
Thanks,
Bridge

Two things are necessary for this to happen:
1) you are working at the same level of releases. So, for example, if you are working at the latest Bridge, are you also working at the latest Photoshop?
2) You need to un-install and reinstall PS AFTER installing Bridge because the menu items you are looking for are installed by Photoshop into Bridge, they are not natively part of Bridge. (The reason for this is not everyone has Photoshop or Illustrator or Premier Pro or Media Encoder, etc. So those applications install their menu items into Bridge if it sees Bridge. If it doesn't see Bridge, it doesn't install anything into "no-Bridge."
So un-install Ps and then re-install PS.
Let us know if that works.

Sheesh, sorry but sometimes you need to uninstall both, restart and then reinstall both but always Brige first.
Please try that.

Hi,
Same problem. PS 22.1 and Bridge 11.0 on a Win 10 machine. Option to open multiple images as layers in PS is not available....not greyed out but just not there. I uninstalled and reinstalled both to no avail. There are "workarounds" but this does affect my workflow. Any ideas? Thanks.

Addendum. Unisntalled both. Restarted computer. Installed Bridge V 11.
Then re-installed PS V22. Option to open as layers re-appeared under tools but box poped up saying to restart bridge to open files in PS.
When I exited then restarted Bridge, option ot open as layers in PS disappeared from pull down in "tools." I am frustrated because I don;t know why this is happening.
Thanks.
