Permissions error - this worked for me (Mac OS)

After moving nearly 1 TB of applications and data from an old to a new Macbook Pro, all my Adobe CC apps worked-- except for Bridge. Trying to launch Bridge immediately failed with a "permissions error"-- no further info. Judging from multiple queries in Adobe forums a similar error can also happen with other CC apps. After too long hacking around, searching online, etc, I found this page in Apple's online support section, and tried the arcane procedure it suggests. Worked like a charm!
