Windows 11 + latest updates of Bridge and Photoshop (25. of November 22):
When Photoshop is opened from Bridge - in this case I opened a jpeg - and then closed, it keeps running in the background under the Bridge session (see attached).
If I repeat this - Photoshop at one point runs in several sessions - and typically the last one demands as much cpu as Bridge.
After a few more openings and closings of Photoshop - from the same session of Bridge - Photoshop will not run, probably because memory is now unavailable.
When these Photoshop sessions are shut down from the Task Manager, Photoshop starts all over - and this annoying behavior will repeat itself.
I work on a laptop with limited memory but sufficient if Photoshop didn't keep running in the background with a new session each time I close it.
Best,
Eigil Skovgaard
