Surely there are a few thinking the same thing.

Having worked in Photography for over 10 years and more recently in video for the last 5 years I feel completely let down by Adobe and the quality drop.

Despite running all apps to best practice on machines that are kitted to perform the ongoing issues across the adobe programs are horrible. The amount of lost time waiting for the programs to respond makes it almost impossible to work on as someone who charges for their time.

I've already transitioned away from premiere and AE for video but can now no longer keep my photo workflow as it's just not sustainable.

I can't be the only one!

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

You aren’t alone.

The downward spiral of Adobe’s managerial, mechanical and UI design competence has been noticed by many.  Some folks point to the business model change from a perpetual licensing model to a subscription business model back in 2011.  That change incentivized the sloppy work that has spiraled to new heights as you’ve pointed out.

All one needs to do to see one superficial example of this is to look at the CC app.  The lack of consistency in the Substance icons is just a surface symptom that highlights a much deeper problem at adobe.

Often the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing, with little care for the fallout that we as professionals must confront every day as a result.

Management seems oblivious, or worse, indifferent to it all.

I suspect that anyone who has witnessed the destruction of the Bridge 13/14 years would understand that this has very little to do with active processes, and more to do with a lack of understanding about what Bridge was designed to do, and then breaking it regardless of the warnings that came in advance advising them they were going to break a lot of stuff.

They did it anyway, and not just with Bridge.
