Which version of Bridge are you using, and what is your system specification? Where are the files located? Is it happening for particular file or all files? Have you tried re-installing the application?
Try troubleshooting these steps and let us know if it helps:
1. Right-click the image(s) you are working on
2. From the menu options, select "Purge Cache for Selection."
3. When the operation completes, try moving/copying images again
