PS6 Bridge launch prompt has ceased working

After years of happy usage, when booting up CS6, the usual prompt to launch bridge has ceased to appear.  The program hangs and I have no images visible with mini-bridge???  Has anyone had this happen? and how do I fix my issue?  Maybe uninstalling and re-installing is the only way???  Hope someone has the answer.  Cheers Doug Hollaway.

    Not all adobe employees may be familiar with bridge, so the next best thing is to move the question to the appropriate forum.

    You should be able to fix Mini Bridge by following the instructions from here:

    After reading what is in the forums, there is no answer to resolve this

    issue.

    I expected was an answer from Adobe - not to be fobbed off to a forum.

    Poor customer relations there.
