The Bridge Cache holds image preview, metadata etc. to speed up browsing, display, searching etc.
The Cache file size will grow over time.
It's a balancing act, 30 days is the default.

What would be the optimum settings if a user wants Bridge to use the minimum size for caching?
Amazingly, if you search online for "Bridge cache settings" the first result is Adobe's help page.
