Request for Bridge 2022 for Mac to work with Photoshop 2023

Hello!

I've been using Adobe Bridge for years, it's been a valuable tool and asset and absolutely necessary for an ideal workflow when editing a lot of images with tags and stars etc.

And it's been great until Bridge 2023 was introduced.

Now I'm constantly facing issues that are not being resolved. Every other day the application runs out of system memory because it uses up +250GB of RAM even though it's just running in idle in the background. Mabye it can't handle the system going to sleep? I don't know but I don't turn off my Mac every day and I certainly won't do that just for Bridge 2023.

And speaking of "idle" - it's alway using some CPU power in idle (even though it's not a lot) - and while doing so it's the only application I've ever seen to cause coil whine on a Apple Silicon CPU.

It's almost like it's trying to bild an index in the background even though I can't see any option to turn that off - and it does a horrible job while doing so.
I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, resetting settings, installting with and without importing presets from the previous installation, updating, reverting and updating, fresh installs,... nothing helps.

So the only way to really get work done efficiently and without any memory leaks is to use Bridge 2022. But as we all know Bridge 2022 can't use Photoshop 2023 for Image Processing or Stacking or anything else. I can open files without any isses but for everything else it tells me to install the latest version of Photoshop.

So, dear Adobe programmers, I humbly ask that you provide us with an update for Bridge 2022 so that it recognises Photosop 2023.

It looks like Bridge is not really getting the love and care it deserves so please just let us work with the older version. Maybe 2024 will resolve the multitudes of problems but 2023 just seems to be an unlucky number.
