Script to use EXIF data

New Here ,
Apr 21, 2015 Apr 21, 2015

I See some great scripts but I am not great at scripting. I also do not see any that seem to do exactly what I need.  here is what I am trying to get.

With the EXIF metadata there is the latitude longitude altitude and direction that the photo was taken. I want to find out how to place this information as text opaque on the photo. But I want to be able to do this en mass to items as we do a ton of photos imported weekly.

If we could figure out how to add a directional arrow next to the direction the photo was taken this (o-->) something like that would be amazing.

i am not going to push a product I use to upload photos with geotag data but it seems to work and adds an arrow when in a map view. Which is really sweet for a perspective. But when you open it on a client pc it is only the typical pushpin. BUMMER!!

This is where I am turning for someone who I know who already done this.

Thanks in advance for any help in directing me or helping me accomplish this mission

If you want to add text to a photo, you would be better to ask this question in the Photoshop scripting forum. There are different ways to pull the metadata from an image based on if you use Bridge or PS. Putting text on a image if fairly easy.
