Search function in Adobe Bridge2022 does not work

I cant get the find function in Bridge2022 (ver 12.0.1.246) to work. The pull down menues are locked so building criteria for searching is not available.
My computer runs Windows 11 (pro) with 32 GB ram. I was in contact with Adobe agent and he opened a remote session but he could not find anything.

Batch rename and search works fine here.

Some people have had to reset their preferences, some pople have had to reinstall.

Given its a windows OS and its registry is easly corruptable, sometimes a uninstall, reboot and reinstall fixes the problem.

I did this 2 mo after installing the latest version of Bridge. It worked for about a month and now doesn't work at all. Now I am back to clicking on Finder and searching from there. It works fine but seems unfair that the "sort by filename" finder option no longer works. It was an asset that I used 100 times a day.

Even if it doesn't help as much, I have the same problem. Hopefully there is a bug fix in the new release.
If anyone had a solution, please let me know.

Been reported already.  Seems to be affecting the Batch Rename function too.  Someone here will tell you to reset your preferences, or to roll back to the earlier version.  Not much else forthcoming from Adobe.

Thx Stephen.

Where can I find a working Bridge. I used to run CS5 with the included Bridge application. But that version is far to old to roll back to 🙂

You have to use Creative Cloud App to roll back.  Select the elipsis symbol beside the app you want to roll back.
