Sort order reverts to default every time Bridge is opened (version 13.0.4.755)

Every time I close and re-open Bridge, the sort order will now change back to the default. This never happened in previous versions. Bridge would always remember my sort order preference. My usual setting is to have the sort order by Date Modified, Ascending Order switched off, but Bridge now always reverts back to Date Modified with Ascending Order on after every restart.

We have just released a new Adobe Bridge 2024 Beta build (14.0.0.94) which fixes this issue.  We would love for you to try it out and share feedback.

Steps to install/update

InstallGo to the Creative Cloud desktop app and select Beta apps in the left sidebar of the Apps panel. Then select install for your beta app.

Update: Go to the Creative Cloud desktop app, click on Update in the left sidebar of the Apps panel, and Check for updates. Then click Update for your beta app.

I am having the same issue. It seems to be a recent problem, only in my case the sort defaults to Ascending Order by File name. I like to work with 2 or 3 content tabs open, and they can have different sort orders. It is frustrating having to re-sort every time I open Bridge.
