Star Ratings Filter not working in Bridge 2021

Hi everyone,

I downloaded Bridge 2021 for the first time today, having previously used the old school version for years.

I've gone through a set of images and given them various ratings, but now when I go to "filter items by rating" and select for example filter by 1 star, nothing happens.

I've tried this with various file locations, and the filter doesn't work for any of my folders.

Could anyone help?

It's unfortunately really disrupted by workflow and I can't find any other articles which relate to this problem exactly.

Thanks

Hi There,

Please let us know what your system is (and what release).

Also please let us know where the images are located (on your Desktop, external hard drive, etc.)

Meanwhile you might try purging your cache (Tools -> Cache -> Purge Cache for the folder you're in)

Hi Gary,

I'm using Windows 10, version 10.0.19043 Build 19043 (hope that's what you mean!)

The images are on a Seagate External Drive via USB, and they are all RAW CR3s, which I had to download the new Bridge to view them in.

I've tried purging the cache a few times now, and also resetting preferences, but sadly none have worked.

I also found a link earlier to download Paragon Driver for my Seagate hardrive, but this didn't make a difference either.

I've tried the star rating filter on a folder of images on my internal hard drive also, all jpgs in that one, and the same issue persists.

Thanks!
