Bridge 10.0.4

I have read the posts that are relevant and reinstalled Bridge, rebooted the computer, checked Privacy settings, removed external drives. Bridge still gives continual error messages as soon as it is started. Any assistance greatly appreciated...

Update: After about 12 successive error messages they have stopped and Bridge appears to be okay, until I restart it.

The problem went away for a couple of days and has now returned. On moving a photo from one folder to another it moved the entire folder and then showed four copies of the same folder in the directory tree. Back to the same error message now on restarting. Is this unique to me or are others having similar problems?

What is a clean install? It's updated via CC isn't it? I get this after every CC update.

Hi Mark,
I had carried out every suggestion I could find with no success so I called
Adobe. My call was quite promptly answered and they quickly and easily
stepped me through a clean install which resolved the problem.
Cheers,
Ian.

What do you mean by "clean install?" Are you talking about Bridge or your OS? Can you offer a short explaination of what you did for your clean install?

I teach Photography and a student of mine is getting the same error message. I'm hoping I can help them.

Thanks

The clean install I performed was with the guidance of an Adobe support
person and while it was a simple process I didn’t pay attention to the
steps so I’m sorry but I’m not much help. I did find the support from Adobe
amazingly efficient and helpful and would recommend calling them.

Use the Adobe CC cleaner app and remove Bridge.

If using a windows OS reboot your machine first.

Re-install Bridge

LATEST

I get Bridge running for 1 or 2 restarts and then back to this. Purge cache, delete preferences, reinstall Bridge -- nothing seems to fix it. Running the latest Mac OS and the latest Bridge.
