Unable to add a star rating to a CR3 Image in Bridge version 12.0.1.246

I have just downloaed several CR3 RAW images into Bridge version 12.0.1.246. After processing in Adobe RAW version 14.1, one of the files does not allow me to add a star rating in Bridge, other files in the folder do. The only way I can add a star rating for this file, is to go back into Adobe RAW and change the star rating there.
Any ideas what is causing the problem?
