Undo button inactive/notworking for append metadata

Hello,

After appending metadata to a selection of photos the undo button remains inactive ,

I want to undo the appended metadata,

for latest version 13.0.3.693 and older ones too - for both windows and mac

To my knowledge, Bridge does not allow you to undo an append metadata data tool. Unfortunately you will have to edit the metadata in the photos.

I have a find and replace script that might be able delete the text you appended. I would have to see which fields you appended and what the existing and appended text looks like.

Another option would be to export all the metadata to a spreadsheet, make all your changes, then import it back into the photos.
