This is happening repeatedly.
When Photoshop has been opened from Bridge and is shut down - typically after some editing and saving of an image - Photoshop can't be run again by double-clicking a thumbnail in Bridge. The working wheel lights up for a second, but nothing furher happens.
When Task Manager is run, Photoshop can be seen running busy under Bridge - as shown in the attachment.
When the busy Photoshop task is ended, Photoshop can be run again from Bridge.
Why is Photoshop not freed and put to sleep when shut down on the (x) symbol?
Best,
Eigil Skovgaard

What must I do to get Adobe's attention to this problem?
It's a constant problem - and seems to be unattended.
It looks like a malfunctioning between Bridge and Photoshop vs. Windows 11.

It is practically impossible to open a ticket with Adobe.
Can anybody point at an Adobe page saying: Submit a ticket, whish actually creates a ticket - and is not just linking to more babble about "support", while real decent support is VERY, very hard to find.

24.1.0 is the current version, and the problem occured yesterday, the January 2nd, 2023, - probably with that version.

Actually this problem occurs with Bridge too - as if Windows 11 is not releasing the closed tasks. Photoshop keeps running under Bridge - and Bridge keeps running as a Background task.

Thank you, have done. I also found a page - well hidden - with my old tickets from where I could submit a new ticket about this problem still existing with Photoshop 24.1.0.
