Won't place in AE 2018

Hi All,

Just starting to use Bridge, and I have both AE 2018 & 2019 installed, but when I choose to place in 2018, it opens 2019 - even if 2018 is already open. Dragging works, but is slower, so I was wondering if I'm missing a setting somewhere? (Both 2018 and 2019 are options in the drop down, when right clicking). Also, this happens in Br CC2018 as well.

Thanks for any help.

The files are mapped to 2019. You need to remap them to 2018 - but I wouldn't do that if you upgraded. Stick with right click or drag and drop.

Thanks for the help, Melissa. That makes sense - I just wonder why they'd distinguish between the two versions if it will only map to one.

Appreciate you taking the time. Thanks again.
