We have exactely the same problem and it is 100% reproducable on any hardware running W1123H2.

(Windows 10 is not affected)

Creative Cloud Desktop App 6.4 is installing PxHlpa64.sys into C.\windows\system32\drivers and this driver ist marked as incompatible with Windows 11 Memory Integrity.

The next reboot will be your last one, since you get stuck in a BSOD.

There are 2 workarounds: disable Windows Memory Integrity (which should be enabled by default!) or delete PxHlpa64.sys.

This needs to be fixed immediatly!

Hey, it's really sad, that Adobe does not care about this problem. I can't really think of any reason, why they would not fix this. We have no use of this Roxio driver, since nobody is using optical drives anymore.

Our current workaround is a scheduled task, that runs on event ID 1074 (shutdown event) and deletes the driver if existent. Sometimes the file gets recreated, probably after an update, so it's not sufficient to remove it after installation.

There is no reason for drivers to even exist within the Cloud Desktop App.

Since the file is from 2011 (!), it has to be legacy stuff they forgot to exclude and now they carry it on from version to version.

The delete task on shutdwon-event is actually a great idea. I might copy that, thank you!
