Ever since I updated Premiere and Media Encoder, when I send my finished sequences to Media Encoder, for some reason the captions won't export with the video.  They will only export through Premiere.  I have my "Burn subtitles into video" option on and everything.  Help.

Please add more details: specs (OS, CPU, GPU, memory), used media, type of captions, export preset.

This is something I've been having on and off for quite some time now. Affects every project I work on and seems random at some times. Having 'import sequences natively' in ME settings does have some impact on this, but I've found I can't get it to reliable burn in captions with that selected or not.

When exporting with captions to Media Encoder, ME doesn't keep your options for captions selected. You'll need to check that box within the ME preset...new bug in the update, surprise, surprise. I sent a bunch of captioned/subtitled files to a client with my standard preset to have them burned-in and found out the hard way that the update created this bug. Please fix. Also, why does mu project window disappear every time export to ME? That bug has been happening on and off for the last 4 to  6 updates.

Do you user a user preset and send over multiple sequences using export > send to AME? I have just filed a bug from here https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-media-encoder-bugs/export-to-me-failing-to-add-burnt-in-caption...

Yes, I send to ME via the export tab (ctrl-m). I have a user preset with captions selected to have them burned in. I usually send one sequences to the queue at a time and encode in bunches later. If I toggle the captions on and off in PP, ME seems to realize that they are active out of PP. Otherwise, I have to manually turn them on again in ME.

Sequentially queuing has always worked for me. What are your specs (OS, CPU, GPU, memory)? If it reliably repros, would you be able to share a small project? I can private message you the instructions.

I'm good.  It's a bug...I've worked in PP for 15 years, seen the bugs come and go. I just like to point out that something small and annoying goes wrong with every single update.
