P: Can't render audio 25.2

Ik keep getting this error whilst scrubbing through timeline after 25.2 update
"Can't render audio

Premiere Pro can't render your audio due to high CPU usage. Try using fewer audio effects, simplifying your timeline, or increasing the 1/0 buffer size in Audio Hardware Preferences"

Tried all options mentioned. After a while the audio stops coming through

Thanks!

I was hopeful when I started a test session yesterday because it initially felt peppy enough, but unfortunately, it still has issues. It doesn't have the exact same symptoms that I had in 25.2.2 (which was glitchy audio and lag), but they did tweak something because the audio isssue seems better but the lag still creeps in over time.

I was working on very simple (2V tracks with 2 or 3A) social marketing clips with a 24P 1080 timeline and 4K 24P footage (sony fx30 and iPhone). My MBP fan never revved up like it did on 25.2, but the lag would get bad enough that I would eventually have to quit and reopen PP. It would also do the thing where you go to export media and it just refuses to go to the export tab. An app restart would remedy that as long as you exported early in the session.

Today, I took a break from PP and left it open only to come back and find the system locked up. Then a window popped up and showed PP was hogging RAM and needed a force quit. So not ready unfortunately. I'm starting a client project next week and will be going back to 25.2.1 I'm on a MBP M2 Pro with 32GB of RAM, ymmv.

How's the latest update working for you? I went back to 25.1 ever since this problem hit, but now have a few shots I want to Generative Extend with 25.2+

Just happened to take a look and see that we now have a 25.2.3 update available. Currently between projects so I'm going in. If I don't return, tell my dog I love her...

25.1 is helping, but the issue is still prevelant. Super frustrating.

No solution yet. I am running an M4. My solution was to go back to 25.1. Problems solved. Except I get some notification about color management on the ones created with 25.2. Not a big deal for these, though. My concern is more with the audio than the video. The audio wasn't even coming through the main mix while using the Audio Mix window. All the track volumes worked, even a submit, but not the final mix track. Yet the sound was still coming through when it did work. That's a really messed up bug.

Has there been any solutions yet? This error is showing up now ever since the update.

This is awful. Adobe needs to fix this fast. Even my older projects are having the same "audio can't render" problem!

Finally hit wit's end on this audio issue and reinstalled 25.1. Though I received the attached alert when opening my project, nothing seems to be adversely affected. For now, everything is back to normal with a properly responsive timeline and my MPB's fan isn't kicking constantly. 25.2 is a botch - hopefully an update comes sooner than later. For now reverting to 25.1 is  my recommendation.

I was having audio drop outs in the previous version.  Playback has been the same in the new version, only this time it shows the error indicating the drop in playback.  I am able to work around this issue for now, but it is definitely a very real issue.

Yeah, that looks pretty slick actually. Thanks to you both for the tip!
