I can't import 3D models to Stager

I'm working with Stager Verison 2.1 on a Mac (Version 12.6.5)

Here's what's up..

I attempt to import a model (I've tried FBX and OBJ formats of my own models, and I've tried uploading an FBX model from the Adobe stager rollerskate tutorial. In each of these cases, I get a popup asking my preferred import settings (include unused materials, etc) and when I hit import, nothing happens. The stager screen is black and there are no layers added to the environment. I have waited up to 20 minutes without any change to the scene. When I close Stager and restart the program I'm met with a crash detected error message.

It has been doing this every time I have tried to use the program. I am using a 30 day free trial license, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the issue. I have not been able to add any models/use the program since accessing the free trial. I've watched multiple tutorials, so I don't think I'm missing anything terribly obvious, but the software is unusable as is.

I'm uploading screenshots of the import popup I receive, the black screen that I'm left with after pressing import, and the rollerskate model I got from the Adobe tutorial.

I'd appreciate any help I can get!

Hi Cyril,

I just ran into a similar situation with an object that imports fine into Stager 2.0 but fails in 2.1. It's a .obj, so would expect it to be no trouble for Stager. The object and Stager log file are attached to my email to substance3d-bugs@adobe.com.

Hello @HMey,

I don't think you're missing anything either.

I've checked the mesh, everything seems clean and I was able to import it without issues. The pop-up message asking for your preferences is what the soft is supposed to do, so nothing abnormal.

Can you send me your last log (help > get logs), so I can have a better idea on what's happening?

Let me know,
