Par avance merci

Thank you in advance
Kind regards

Camera Raw is not an application, but a raw converter plugin for Photoshop and Bridge. It cannot be opened on its own.
When you open a raw file in Photoshop, it first opens in Camera Raw, where you do your edits, and you can then click Open to open in Photoshop to do edits that cannot be done in Camera Raw. The file that opens in Photoshop is a new file, rendered from the raw file, and you would normally save it as a PSD or Tiff.
There is also the Camera Raw filter, which is part of Photoshop, and only works with rendered (non-raw) files.
You'll find in the Filter menu.

Thank you very much Per for your answer. Your explanation is very clear and I do understand that Camera Raw cannot be opened as an application. I nevertheless remember that a few months ago I had the possibility of opening this "application" via the Camera Raw icon.
Unfortunately when I try to open a file with Photoshop I'm directly taken into the PS application and not in Camera RAW as you say.
Do you have any tips to be directed in Camera RAW to do my edit before deciding (or not) to continue the editing on PS ?
Thank you again for your assistance

If the file opens directly in Photoshop, it is not a raw file, but you can use the Camera Raw filter to edit (as well as all the other Photoshop editing tools).
You can set Camera Raw to open tiffs and jpg if you like in the preferences.
To open the preferences, in Photoshop go to Edit > Preferences > Camera Raw.

You should do as much editing as possible in ACR (Adobe Camera Raw), and only use Photoshop for things that cannot be done in ACR. In ACR you're working with the raw data, which is a huge advantage compared to editing a rendered file in PS.
ACR has gotten loads of new features in recent years, and the need to edit in PS has been greatly reduced.
