Why is there no Camera Raw 15.x installer provided on the Camera Raw plug-in installer page?
Several users have already been asking for a way to roll back from camera raw 16 because it
doesn't work on their systems, but camera raw 15 did.

I hope you catch the drift and can take it from there

It seems that Adobe disabled the ability to revert back to previous versions of CR on the creative cloud page. My question is WHY?

What a load of crap. I notice there is absolutely NO respose from Adobe about the issue alot of users are having with Camera Raw and reverting back to V 15, which worked just fine on my older desktop. I used it alot and was happy with my workflow. I went back to the older version of CR after installing the latest version of PS, and it went ahead and updated back to the new CR without notifiction after just a few weeks frustration free. I guess the gods at Adobe don't care to consider that not all of us have the latest and greatest equipment to work with, and are only concerned with high end users. I've been an PS user since WAY before it became a subscription, and really am considering other options for my photography. I hope others follow suite, but untill that happens and Adobe feels the crunch, I seriously doubt they will give a crap.

Hi all, i spent a day wrestling with this problem yesterday and thanks to the suggestion below i finally worked out how to find Adobe Camera RAW 15.5 for Mac OS. I googled this a lot without finding a credible link to click- so please enjoy the following link which is straight from Adobe with no worrying looking website download links to be concerned about...!
For google search reasons:
Here is a link to download Adobe Camera Raw 15.5 for Mac OS:
https://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/photoshop/cameraraw/mac/15.x/CameraRaw_15_5.dmg
This version of Camera RAW has rudimentary AI integrated, like the upgraded selection tool and the other widely discussed updated. For reference, my machine is a 2019 Macbook Pro (Non M1 processor) running OS Big Sur 11.7.1, and i am pleased to report that the install seems to be working solidly after a few hours of use.
As a side note, this version 15.5 of Camera Raw allows me to import directly RAW images taken with the Canon R6 mkII- a much better way of working than having to transcode to Adobe DNG first.
Enjoy!
