Camera Raw 17.0 Technology Previews - Denoise

Camera Raw 17.0.0.2043 on Windows 11

An observation:

New AI Features and Settings Panel checked.

Open existing DNG file in Camera Raw.

Apply Denoise as standard edit feature (new).

Resulting file causes Photoshop 26.0.0 to crash when selecting Open Object or Open.

When noise reduction is performed manually or the older method of applying Denoise and producing a new -Enhanced-NR.dng file , the file opens correctly in Photoshop.

Hey, @Erik Bloodaxe. Thanks for bringing this up. I've tried to recreate this with random RAW images, and Photoshop did not crash. Please share the system information from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.

Where are the original files stored, on an internal or external drive? What is the file format of the source image that you're working on?

Photoshop System Info is attached.

Addressing the points in your message:

There will be no crash report as Photoshop simply freezes rather than crashing and closing.
Original files are stored on internal SSDs.
File formats tested - CR2,CR3, DNG

Since posting my comment I have since discovered that the Photoshop freezing issue occurs ONLY when Camera Raw is hosted by Bridge. If hosted by Photoshop then file opening works correctly.
