Question

.dcp profile isn't loaded when .xmp is

I am importing some XMP profile into Camera Raw from another machine. These profile includes a .dcp calibration profile. But when I load the settings I get a warning triangle stating that 'Profile not installed, rendering incorrect'

I have searched far and wide and found several posts showing how to do this. But for some reason it doesn't load.

I have tried placing the files both in c:/Program Data/Adobe/CameraRaw/CameraProfiles as well as in c:/Users/[username]/App Data/Roaming/Adobe/CameraRaw/CameraProfiles with the accompaying xmp in the settingsfolder in the same location. (eg. c:/Program Data/Adobe/CameraRaw/Settings)

I've tried restarting the machine. I've tried editing the xmp to have a simpler name, I've tried omitting the md5 hash check ... But I'm running out of ideas.

This is one a fresh install of Windows 10 64 Pro with Photoshop, Bridge and CameraRaw. Nothing else so far.

Unfortunately no. Exporting the preset on a working machine with the Profile check off as being a part of the preset it still doesn't get imported on the new machine.
