My GF has a Nikon Z 6II and she downloaded some NEF files which her Photoshop Elements 2022 opened in Camera Raw 14.1. After making her adjustments she wants to same as TIFF but we don't see that option. The only option we see is .dng (digital negative). How do we save as a TIFF?
BTW, looking online we see that some versions of Camera Raw seem to have a Preset option above the Destination field for saving, and a Save file button in the lower left corner. But on hers the file save is in the upper right corner and it produces no Preset option.
Thanks in advance.
Just use the 'Open' button so ACR renders the raw into Elements (or Photoshop), and save as TIFF.
The ACR hosted in Elements and Photoshop are NOT the same! That is, Photoshop has more functionality. I'm a Photoshop user so I can't examine specific limitations in the Elements version. There is an Elements forum you can ask.

What Open button are you referring to? The Open option in the right-click popup for the NEF file in Windows File Explorer? If you do that it opens in Camera Raw as I described above with no apparent way to save it as a TIFF to be consumer by Photoshop Elements.

The button in Camera Raw.
Nothing happens outside it.
