Camera-matching Profiles are applicable to Camera Raw, Lightroom Classic, and the Lightroom Ecosystem products (Desktop, Mobile, and Web).
Note: Not all cameras will receive camera-matching profiles.
This thread is a place to request missing camera-matching profiles for specific models. Please include a complete camera model designation and a list of the specific camera-matching profiles you are requesting in your request. If your camera is already listed in this thread, please reply to the specific camera’s post rather than just posting in-line.
Camera-matching profiles are provided for some camera manufacturers and models. As raw support is added for individual camera models, camera-matching profiles for some cameras may be added when raw support is initially offered. Other cameras may see camera-matching profiles added at a later date. It is also possible that a specific camera may see a long delay or perhaps not ever receive a specific camera-matching profile.
Note:
ETAs for camera-matching profiles are not available. New feature announcements are only made after support is added.

@Geoff28982360ebj9, also, there is a discrepancy between what you're seeing and what I'm seeing for Canon R6 Mark III raws. If this discrepancy indicates a bug in LR/CR's handling of profiles for this camera, simply waiting for the next update won't accomplish anything, since Adobe won't be aware of the bug.

I'm confused about what you're describing. When you open an EOS R6 Mark III raw in Camera Raw, does the profile browser show camera-matching profiles?
Yes, It shows Camera Matching Profiles, but I cannot find these profiles in either of the locations you mentioned, which is why I am confused as to what ACR is doing.

@Geoff28982360ebj9, there is no "Canon EOS R6 Mark III Adobe Standard.dcp" file either, but the profile "Adobe Standard" is available for the R6 Mark III in both LR and Camera Raw.
I think the R6 Mark III profiles may be bundled inside the LR / CR executable for some reason. You can demonstrate LR / CR isn't using another camera model's profiles by moving the CameraRaw folder to your desktop and restarting LR. When you edit a raw from the R6 Mark III, Adobe Standard still is available, though for raws from other cameras, Develop says "Profile missing".
In the past, profiles for some Leicas were bundled into the LR / CR executable as well.
I filed a bug report for the Supported Cameras page mistakenly saying that camera-matching profiles weren't available for the R6 Mark III:

@Geoff28982360ebj9, Adobe employee Sameer K just wrote that they'll be correcting the Supported Cameras page to indicate that LR/CR supply camera-matching profiles for the Canon EOS R6 Mark III:
