Announcing a new feature now in Adobe Camera Raw (17.2) – Removal of Distracting People
Under the Remove dialog, under Distraction Removal, we have added an item called “People”.
This feature supports faster and easier detection and removal of distracting people in an image. It is offered as a Tech Preview in the Adobe Camera Raw Plugin-only and is available now. Please try it out and let us know what works well, what doesn’t work well, and anything that might improve the experience.
Thank you!

Outstanding results in an image outdoors (cambodian temples) with about 4 separated people in the image. detection areas were perfect. generated replacements are undetectable at first look.

This tool is excellent for removing distracting people. I am currently using it selectively for removing people from iconic views on a recent trip to Portugal. I particularly like the ability to remove some people and leave others in the shot as it makes it much more realistic.

Also will remove people parts such as a finger infront of wide angle lens. It gave my brother-in-law pants and shoes covered by the misplaced finger. Looks great. Impressive. Casual viewer would not notice since infant is suject of the photo.. Will see if brother-in-law does.
Get ready! An upgraded Adobe Community experience is coming in January.
