Lens Profiles apply to Camera Raw, Lightroom Classic, and the Lightroom Ecosystem products (Desktop, Mobile, and Web).
Lens Profiles are available for a wide array of lenses. Not every lens is currently profiled, and of those profiled, not all are profiled for all camera and file types. For example, there may be a profile for a particular lens and camera mount for the raw file but not for the JPEG. Normally, profiles for JPEG are not supplied unless the camera does not apply a correction (e.g. iPhone, GoPro).
A complete list of profiled lenses can be found here: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/supported-lenses.html
other helpful info: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/lens-profile-support.html#Supported_lenses
Lens correction for all Micro 4/3 (MFT) lenses and many newer cameras, including Panasonic and Olympus cameras, and other cameras (including Fuji X, Leica Q, and Nikon Z series)plus many point-and-shoot models from Canon) happens automatically without any interaction by the customer. A notation will appear in the Lens Correction Panel designating this.
Note: You should not expect to find any profiles listed in the pop-up notes, because the corrections are always applied.
If you are unsure whether your lens is supported automatically refer to the "info" button/icon on the Lens Corrections tab.
If your lens is not on the supported lens list and is not one of those whose correction happens automatically, you can create your own profiles using the Adobe Lens Profile Creator. Download the Adobe Lens Profile Creator: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/digital-negative.html#resources
If you desire an Adobe-created Lens Profile, please make your request in the comments of this thread. Be sure to include the full lens model/description and the camera mount you desire. ETAs for new lens profiles are not available.
Keep in mind that lens profiles cannot be made for tilt/shift lenses, and the tilt or shift settings cannot be recorded in the Exif data. A feature request exists here for Tilt-Shift Lens Profiles: https://community.adobe.com/t5/camera-raw-ideas/p-lens-profiles-for-tilt-shift-lens/idi-p/12221166
Note: The Lens Profile Creator is currently supported for Windows and 32-bit Versions of the Mac OS.
ETAs are not available for any lens request.

Please could a lens profile be added for:
NIKKOR Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR (Z mount)
My experience with chromatic abberation in Lightroom Classic for this lens is really poor, in comparison to the lens it replaced (Nikon 200-500mm F Mount). I have also compared the results from NX studio like for like with the same RAW file. No issues in NX Studio. LRC makes the situation worse in some cases or introduces CA in other areas. If it *does* the remove the purple blue fringing, it will introduce pale orange fringing instead. CA is something that has not been an issue for years in LRC but with this lens, it's the worst part of the editing process.

@michaelw15371056: "a lens profile be added for: NIKKOR Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR (Z mount)"
In general, Camera Raw and Lightroom don't provide lens profiles for the Z lenses.
https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/supported-lenses.html
Instead, they use the Nikon profiles embedded in the raws by the cameras. You can see that in in the Lens Corrections panel when you enable profile corrections:
If you're seeing a difference between CR/LR and NX Studio, that suggests a problem with how CR/LR is interpreting the profile. I suggest you post a bug report:
https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-bugs/p-how-do-i-write-a-bug-report/idi-p/12386373
Include a sample raw and full-resolution JPEGs exported from that raw from both LR and NX Studio showing the problem. Upload the files to Wetransfer, Dropbox, Google Drive or similar free service and include the sharing link in your post. Adobe isn't likely to pay attention unless they can easily reproduce the problem.

I was wondering if anyone would know where I can download the lens profile for the Venus Optics Laowa 90mm F2.8 2X Macro since there is no lens correction support on Lightroom just yet? I scan my film negatives at home and I usually use the Laowa 105mm lens profile to fix the vignetting, but it would be nice if I had a precise lens profile to do this! Hopefully Adobe can add this lens profile to the collection in the future.

@Black Rambo: "add all Nikon Z lenses to the lens profile in Lightroom Classic and Mobile. "
Nikon Z cameras embed lens profiles directly in the raws, and in the case of many Nikon/lens combinations, LR applies the profile automatically. You can see that here in your screenshot:
If you click on the "i", it will tell you more about the corrections provided by the embedded profile.

@Black Rambo, don't check Enable Profile Corrections. The embedded lens profile has been automatically applied already. When you click Enable Profile Corrections, LR will apply a lens profile for some other lens on top of the built-in embedded corrections, which you definitely don't want.

Please add profile for Sony FE 300mm f/2.8 GM OSS with 1.4x and 2.0x teleconverters.
I do a lot of aircraft photography and the plain blue sky always needs manual vignetting corrections which is frustrating. This lens has been out for almost 2 years.

Hello Adobe Team,
I would like to request official lens profile support for the Schneider-KREUZNACH x LK Samyang 14-24mm F2.8 wide-angle zoom lens. While Lightroom and Camera Raw already support many Samyang and Rokinon lenses, this particular model is not listed in the automatic lens correction database.
As a professional photographer working with architectural and commercial projects, I rely heavily on accurate distortion, chromatic aberration, and vignetting correction. Currently, the absence of this profile forces me to manually adjust each photo or approximate with a different lens profile, which is both time-consuming and less precise.
Having an official Adobe profile for this lens would:
Ensure distortion correction matches the optical design of this specific model.
Save time during post-production by applying corrections automatically.
Maintain consistency and accuracy across large sets of images.
This lens is widely used under both the Samyang and Schneider-KREUZNACH branding, so adding support would benefit a broad user base.
Thank you for considering this request, and for continuously improving Lightroom and Camera Raw for professionals worldwide.
