P: Lens Profile requests and information

Lens Profiles apply to Camera Raw, Lightroom Classic, and the Lightroom Ecosystem products (Desktop, Mobile, and Web).
Lens Profiles are available for a wide array of lenses. Not every lens is currently profiled, and of those profiled, not all are profiled for all camera and file types. For example, there may be a profile for a particular lens and camera mount for the raw file but not for the JPEG. Normally, profiles for JPEG are not supplied unless the camera does not apply a correction (e.g. iPhone, GoPro).
A complete list of profiled lenses can be found here: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/supported-lenses.html
other helpful info: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/lens-profile-support.html#Supported_lenses
Lens correction for all Micro 4/3 (MFT) lenses and many newer cameras, including Panasonic and Olympus cameras, and other cameras (including Fuji X, Leica Q, and Nikon Z series)plus many point-and-shoot models from Canon) happens automatically without any interaction by the customer. A notation will appear in the Lens Correction Panel designating this.
Note: You should not expect to find any profiles listed in the pop-up notes, because the corrections are always applied.
If you are unsure whether your lens is supported automatically refer to the "info" button/icon on the Lens Corrections tab.
If your lens is not on the supported lens list and is not one of those whose correction happens automatically, you can create your own profiles using the Adobe Lens Profile Creator. Download the Adobe Lens Profile Creator: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/digital-negative.html#resources
If you desire an Adobe-created Lens Profile, please make your request in the comments of this thread. Be sure to include the full lens model/description and the camera mount you desire. ETAs for new lens profiles are not available.
Keep in mind that lens profiles cannot be made for tilt/shift lenses, and the tilt or shift settings cannot be recorded in the Exif data. A feature request exists here for Tilt-Shift Lens Profiles: https://community.adobe.com/t5/camera-raw-ideas/p-lens-profiles-for-tilt-shift-lens/idi-p/12221166
Note: The Lens Profile Creator is currently supported for Windows and 32-bit Versions of the Mac OS.
ETAs are not available for any lens request.

Hello Community, I already asked here a few months ago why the profile corrections for the Tamron 50-300mm F/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD are missing. I was waiting for the big Lightroom classic update. I installed it today but unfortunately the profile corrections are still missing. Do you think there will be another update or should I expect that Adobe will not do anything more?

Hi!
Tell me please is there any chance for that profile? Great lens but aberration and distortion are visible without a good profile. Please help us with that.
On the other hand someone can recommend alternative profile for now? Now i'm using Ultron ASPH 28mm f1.5.
Thanks!
Łukasz

Please add the profile of Canon EF 100-300 USM lens to the Camera Raw, though it's an old rubbish lens,it's more important to correct the image in Camera Raw.

Hi anyone who has authority.
I've noticed a bunch of new lenses being supported and some strange and not so popular lenses. There is support for every camera brand even Pentax which is barely relevant these days. I am wondering as before, why you don't have Olympus/ OM Systems lenses supported. I was told it was becuase they were not very popular however, I would say they are more popular than some of the lenses you do support. Please add Olympus/ OM Systems and other m4/3 lenses to your list in lightroom. Despite what you may believe, there is a very large community using m4/3 and Lightroom/ Photoshop.

You may find the last sentence in initial post of below linked post addresses your question, albeit not with the answer you're hoping for.

Dear Adobe Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to kindly request the addition of lens correction profiles for two specific lenses in Adobe Camera Raw:
- Nikon Z 14-30mm f/4
- Nikon Z 24-120mm f/4
As a photographer who relies heavily on Adobe products for post-processing, having these profiles available would significantly enhance my workflow and image quality.
Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to your response.

Hallo Community,

As described in the topic. I was sort of unpleasantly surprised when I noticed that there is no correction profile for the canon ef 80-200 lens provided by the Lightroom. I understand, that I am an owner of relativwely old lens, but that should not be an issue with having the lens profile withing a modern software. Keeping in mind, the lens thet I mention is not an accidental one but one of the most legendary ones among canon lenses.
Best regards,
Darek

Hi,
I was wondering if this lens would be added. I was very excited back when FD 1.4 and 1.8s were added as those were the lens I had used, and I was hopeful that more FD lens may be added. However, this one whilst being in the same family of lenses and have the same focal distance was not added in any updates. Would this be possible?

A lens profile for the GoPro 13 is provided in the Lightroom mobile app, but none for the ultra wide lens. As a result, distortion from use of the ultrawide lens must be corrected manually rather than automatically.
please consider adding a lens profile for the GoPro Ultra wide lens. this would facilitate automatic correction of distortion from photos taken this camera and lens.

Hi,
I was wondering if Canon FD 50mm f/1.2 L would be added. I was very excited back when FD 1.4 and 1.8s were added as those were the lens I had used, and I was hopeful that more FD lens may be added. However, this one whilst being in the same family of lenses and have the same focal distance was not added in any updates. Would this be possible? Since it's a prime lens, it shouldn't be much of an effort for Adobe to make a lens profile.

Warum ist das NIKKOR Z 24–70 mm 1:4 S noch nicht im Lightroom-Update enthalten?

I couldn't find the option for lens correction for the NIKKOR Z 24–70 mm 1:4 S on any software by Adobe.
Is there any solution for this?
Or was that simply not added yet?

Does anyone know if there is a lens correction profile for the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL? I don't see profiles for any google pixel cameras, unless I'm missing something.
If anyone is familiar with how to correct images taken with this camera, I' be appreciative of any help.

Hi @N_Smith! Welcome to the community!
I apologize for the incorrect information in my previous message. For all Google Pixel cameras since the Pixel 3, the lens profiles are embedded in the raw DNG files. You can see them in the Lens Corrections panel by clicking the "i" at the bottom left corner of the sub-panel.
Thanks!
Alek

Wondering if in Lightroom a profile for the Fuji GF 30 mm f/5.6 T/S will be available in the future? Distortion is (unlike the Canon T/S lenses) visible so correction is a sort of mandatory. as architectural photographer. Now we have to use Capture One Pro which has a profile for this lens. Postproduction wise not very convenient to use 2 programs next to each other or to switch to Capture One Pro alone.

Hello Adobe Community, I would like to request a lens profile for the Viltrox 35mm f1.7 E mount lens released in December 2024. It appears creating a lens profile is no longer supported and I was directed to make a post. Hope to see it in the next LrC update!

Hello everyone,
I’d like to request lens correction profiles for these key professional Nikon NIKKOR Z lenses—some of the most important models in the professional mirrorless Z series:
• Nikon NIKKOR Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S
• Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S
• Nikon NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S
These profiles are very necessary for a smooth workflow in Camera Raw, Lightroom Classic, and the entire Lightroom ecosystem. Currently, it seems the automatic corrections don’t cover these models, so having official Adobe profiles would be a huge help.

I had the 24-70mm f/2.8 S for a short period some years ago, and the files taken with it do have a built-in lens profile.
I have never used the two others, but I always thought all the Z lenses had built-in profiles.
Don't you see the text Built-in Lens Profile applied at the bottom of the Lens corrections panel?
