P: Possible import issue w in-camera crop factor, Hasselblad fff files
My husband and I have an issue importing Hasselblad fff files (produced by Hasselblad's Phocus) into Lightroom Classic. We often shoot in a different aspect ratio (1:1, x-pan, etc), which is shown on the rear LCD and in the jpg images. It seems the in-camera aspect ratio chosen (as shot) is not reflected on import into Lightroom Classic. Our Lightroom version is 14.0.1. This happens for both of us, operating the same Hasselblad camera system and different installations of LRC on 2 Mac Studios.
We also have a FUJI system, in which the raw import does show if an alternate in-camera aspect ratio is used.
Finally, if we instead import the 3fr file into LRC, the crop DOES show. However, the 3fr file is much larger (30 to 40% larger) than the fff - so it would be preferable to use the smaller sized fff.
I am hoping that this may be a bug that can be fixed so that we can find a workaround while the issue is addressed. Do you have any recommendations? I can supply a cropped file if you need that.
Thank you,
Ann T
