After a bad experience with adobe support (only in English by the way) I try to post my question here hoping that someone had the same problem solving it. I have had photoshop elements 2023 for a few months and I need to upload some TIF files. The software asks me to install the camera raw plugin which is already installed and even reinstalling it keeps asking. I then followed the instructions on the site by downloading the plugin and following the instructions to go and put the downloaded file in the system folder but even so I always get the pop up that asks the plugin and I can't go on with the job. Does anyone know how to resolve? Thanks.

I wonder if it's possible that you following instructions written for Photoshop - which you don't have - rather than Photoshop Elements. If not sure please link to the instructions - not clear why Camera Raw is even involved in any instructions for uploading to the web.

What version of windows are you using?
You shouldn't even need the camera raw plugin to open tif files.
Was it that you tried File>Open in Camera Raw and then you got that message about installing camera raw?
