Question

Really slow scrolling in menus, adjusting sliders fine

Hi,

for the longest time I am having issue with ACR, that is fortunately just kinda quality of life thing. Scrolling through menus and filters in ACR is incredibely laggy to a point of me going crazy. Sliders are fine though, they are working fine.

The video shown is on a fresh install, so no settings are changed. Tried disabling HW acceleration, no effect.

If I open presets window, it's faster, but still noticeable.

As I know your first steps, i already deleted ACR preferences - no help.

This is happening on windows 11 and it was happening on windows 10 before too.

Any help will be highly appreciated. I am out of ideas and I didn't even start.

Review your system's specs and compare them to the minimum requirements document:

However, the same behavior is happening with every version of ACR - raw or tiff or psd or psb, filter or not.

For you, indeed.

And as you can see, the recommended amount of RAM for the GPU is 16 GB (I'm actually running 64). Smooth as silk.

I believe you are reading 2 different things.

16GB RAM is recommended, but it's not GPU RAM, it is normal RAM and I have 32GB of that

For GPU RAM it is lower:

4GB GPU RAM for 4k display and greater

8GB of dedicated GPU RAM !!!OR!!! 16GB of shared GPU RAM for full GPU acceleration.

I have 6 and 16 shared, so that still complies with recommended, which means full support of every feature.

YET

I can't scroll smoothly, even though adjusting pictures is smooth lol

I am paying 12€ per month for a piece of software that can't scroll smoothly

I ran 1.0 cyberpunk medium raytraced at 15fps even though 1660Ti does not have RT nor Tensor cores, yet I can't scroll in photoshop or camera raw as a normal person 😂

But I get it, you're out of ideas, I will try to contact adobe directly to see what they can think of

Okay, so, update, it seems like it's happening with photoshop as whole, as I just tried sky replacement menu and it's happening there as well.
