Question

Saving tone curve presets in ACR 15 gone?

I use tone curve presets frequently and there no longer seems to be a function for saving a custom curve in ACR 15. Previously it was possible to save whatever adjustment was made to the curves as a preset with the small dropdown menu under the curves/histogram window. Where did it go and how can I get it back? If it was removed, why on earth would that be a good idea?

Yes. Thank you. I figured that out. However it was considerably more direct in previous versions with the dropdown menue enabling a value to be saved directly within the curves panel. While the comprehensive presets are very useful, the other route was very useful.

I have to agree that this new method is not straightforward. It was much easier to find saved point curves in the drop down menu along with linear, medium and strong. And also being able to save custom tone curves from there.
