Hello,

We have created an eLearning module using Captivate 8.

There is a total of 84 slides.

In which we use :

- flash companions with animation of the lips and eyes.

- sound for the companions

- software capture realised with captivate 8 (57 slides on the 84 are captured)

When we reach around slide 40 the animation of the companion is slowed.

Then when we reach slide 56 the beginning of the sound is cut (around 2-3 seconds).

If i publish only from slide 40 to the end we have no more problem, it's only when we publish the whole things we have the issue.

The whole cptx size is 85Mo (clean library).

Do you have an idea to help me ?

Thanks a lot.

Vincent

It sounds like the amount of processing power required to run everything in this lesson is bogging it down until about the middle it crosses some kind of threshold.

Break it up into two separate modules.

Thank you for your answer, the issue is coming from the capture which are really huge.

We have replaced some captures by screenshots and now it is ok.

You could have event listeners in the animations that are still active, which will definitely bog down the course.
