How to subscribe to a Learner Transcript report

I would like to set up a subscription to a Learner Transcript report so I can get a daily output of any new enrollments and course completions across a certain portion (or all) of the user base.
How to do this?  It seems I can only subscribe to 'dashboard' reports, and I cannot work out how to make a Learner Transcript report part of a dashboard, even a custom one.
All suggestions welcome.
Thank you

@Elizabeth5CF1 , since the Learner Transcript is an Excel report, using it alone will not allow for a subscription. Instead, create a new dashboard CUSTOM report to fulfill your need.

    1. As Administrator, go to Reports > Custom Reports > Add Dashboard (OPTIONAL: but advised, to keep reports organized) Add Report

    2. Name the report

    3. Parameters:

    • Type: Courses Enrolled and Completed
    • Y-axis: Course Statistics
    • Secondary Y-axis: None
    • For X-axis: User Group (add your user group)

    Save

Navigate up to Subscriptions, find the report you just created in Step #2, and choose your frequency.

Let me know how this works for you 😊

    Hello MrsWandaJeanous

Thank you for this response.  It helped a little, but it still doesn't really satisfy my needs because all the dashboard reports are charts, whereas what I really wanted is a spreadsheet report like the Excel Reports which contain details rather than summary information.  I cannot seem to find a way of subscribing to that kind of report.

    My investigations continue.

Hi @Elizabeth5CF1 , when you create a dashboard report, it can be exported to Excel at anytime. Are you saying that the information sent to you in the subscription sends you a different Excel sheet than if you download it manually (see below)? The process I'm sharing here (MANUALLY), should give you the same outout as the subscription.

Here are some tips. Let me know if this works for you.

    1. Click the drop-down on the report menu

    2. Choose Download report

    3. Check the notification area to get the report, which can be opened in Excel

this should be the same report as subscribing:
