Can't open puppets

Every time I try to select a puppet in character animator, I always get an error like this. I've gotten the software up to date and have restarted my computer. I also can't open puppet maker.

You won't be able to open the puppet maker in Starter mode, that's only available in Pro mode. 

Is the problem you're having with just a specific puppet or are all the starter puppets behaving this way?
