Head turn issues

Hi there,
I recently built a custom character using an OK Samurai Illustrator puppet tutorial, everything was working great, the puppet was responding to my face properly.

I wanted to do head turns next, so i followed the head turn and paralax video tutorial (using the puppet i had built from the previous tutorial) and by the end of the video, my whole character started to get buggy eg. the head started floating off the body, the head turns would cause the facial features to squish together, the pupils started to warp and the body doesn't sway anymore. Could someone give me a hand?

It looks like you need to change the independent (crown icon) settings on the head and eyes. I don't have very much experience with the head parallax settings, so I don't have much more to offer.
